Should I Self Tan?

If you just can’t seem to be able to fit in your spray tanning session, self tanning is a great option. Here are a few suggestions:

Be sure to exfoliate your skin before you self tan. We carry a full line of self tanning products that are clean, made with natural ingredients and are good for your skin. The percentage of tanning agent (Dha) in our product line is higher than most you will find over the counter giving you a result as close as you can get to a spray tan. Using a tanning mitt is recommended but not necessary. Be sure to wash your palms immediately after if you do not wear a mitt. As with most of our spray tans, you must let the self tanner develop for 8 hours before rinsing. Cover the entire body with the self tanner in a circular motion and make sure it is blended into the skin. DO NOT spend much time covering knees or elbows. Go over them lightly with product. You also want to be sure to tan the tops of your feet and hands. You can set the tan in with our Glow by Erin finishing powder that we use with our spray tans now available for purchase.
